Richard Dorigatti is a seasoned tax specialist and business consultant with over 35 years of experience in taxation, accounting, and strategic business advisory. Richard holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting (Taxation) from Utah State University, where he was awarded the Federation of Schools of Accountancy’s Top Student Award and the Utah Association of CPAs’ Top Graduate Student Award. He passed the national CPA exam on his first setting with the highest score in Utah (May 1988), and was named Accountant Advocate of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2002 in Washington D.C.
As an educator and leader in his profession, Richard has taught tax law as an adjunct professor at Utah State University and served as an editor and instructor for professional education programs sponsored by the AICPA, IRS, and state CPA societies. His speaking engagements include the Harvard Business School, Intel, Rockwell International, and Merrill Lynch, among others. His published work and media appearances further demonstrate his commitment to educating both professionals and the public on tax strategy and compliance.
